Further development of regional green hydrogen initiatives is critical to use of H2.
Green hydrogen is created by using an electrolyser.
Runs electrical current through water & separates into hydrogen & oxygen.
Gas is used to make hydrogen through this different process.
Involves high-pressure steam & a catalyst, known as steam-methane
Green hydrogen can be derived from renewable electricity.

Also from biogas by steam reforming, or biomass through thermal conversion.
Gas can be stored in salt caverns under pressure or, in liquefied form. or in tanks.
Vast majority of industrial hydrogen is currently produced from natural gas.
