Women are not really running most automotive dealerships.
For example, only 19 % of F&I management professionals are women.
Women are the majority of employees working in auto dealership.
Most are in the office management & administrative positions.
Men make the decisions; Women, generally, do the crunch work. This needs to change.
You talking to me? The way men and women talk to each other is a problem & a challenge.
The use of gendered language by males perpetuates workplaces that favor men.
This language needs to change because the needs of those who use it have changed.
Using gender inclusive language like “they” instead of “he” or “her” is a major step toward inclusion

How men talk to women has been important socially even culturally. Now the need for change has come to work.

It appears that the tech community including automotive and transportation management are finally focusing on bringing more black and women engineers and technology professionals into the Industry.
However, in general, little progress has been made to date and things remain the same in the Industry
The system perpetuates practices that have not effectively dealt with diversity & untapped talent of Blacks, Women, and Minorities
The solution is about access, support, mentoring, getting involved, & leadership from the white males who now lead automotive technology companies
Women are natural and competent care givers of others. Now they are focused also on their own self care and wellness. Also how they look on Zoom
